Eight of my favorite 2020 runway shows.
About six months ago, I got really stoned. No surprise there! This time, though, I discovered the world of high-fashion haute couture runway shows and the importance of creativity in fluid motion. I started with the first on this list, Gucci 2020 Spring/Summer. Growing up with a mom who loved techno and house, The Crystal Method-esque music in this show enhanced my curiosity - the beginning of the never-ending.
Now, high-fashion runway shows are like a weekend ritual. Of course, I also love non-haute couture as well. Second on this list is a man by the name of Christian Siriano, and if he looks familiar to you it’s because he was season four’s winner of Project Runway! His inclusiveness is what brought my high ass to the floor. Whooping at the plus-sized models on the screen, rhinestones, and over-the-top finale, Siriano is also a go-to. Others on this list include Alexander McQueen, Mugler, Balmain, and more.
