SWOON BEAUTY BAR REVIEW
I was having the worst week, AGAIN! Like, seriously world? While I can’t continuously make everyone happy, I can make myself happy. Sometimes being a new boss can feel like walking on eggshells even though you’re in charge of picking them up. So, when I got a DM from Swoon Beauty Bar, I knew there was something positive on the horizon. It’s almost as if I was taking a brand new breath of fresh air since the pandemic started.
First off, Swoon Beauty Bar is cute, like, really cute. I see you, OKC.
Second off, each member of staff treated me as if they truly cared about what I said. Mind you, I even had a mask on! So listening to the details of my conversations meant a lot to me. In the age of the pandemic, I often feel misunderstood because of the lack of expression due to masks. Regardless, Shay, my stylist, was eager to make me look like a boss.
Swoon is even a R&Co Salon! Props to Vegan haircare forever and always.
If we’re being real, this was my first blowout ever. I don’t do frilly things for myself, and before my blowout I would have considered this frilly. Now, I consider it a part of my self-care routine. Blogger lingo. Lmao. But really! It was that great.
Spending an extra $40 to have fabulous hair on a date night, or a girls night out, is so worth it. I can’t even believe I’m saying that! It’s the confidence, though. I felt so fucking pretty after, especially as the curls began to fall into the night. It’s like getting your nails done, but confidence charged up x4 and only lasts 48 hours. If you’re in need of doing something kind for yourself, Swoon Beauty Bar is what’s up.
And let’s be real, after months of lockdown and a new found glory for blue light glasses, most of us are in need of TLC.
Nothing negative to say at all about Swoon, seriously. Every stylist became a quick friend, as did the double mimosa xx
Here’s their website! Shay was my stylist and I highly recommend. x
